12 girls in Helsinki 12.04-14.06

This was a trip only for girls!

We found the free Viking Line cruse on the internet and booked!
Now the spring has arrived and it was warm enough to spend some time outside on the ferry sun deck!

And it was time for ice cream!

The sunset was really beautiful, but it was really really windy ;-)

After a funny party night we arrived in Helsinki! The home town from Katariina and Emmi!

We saw a lot of churches,...

and museums from the outside.

and after lunch the sun came out and it was again time for ice cream! They have black liquorice ice cream!!

On the way back we were 12 really drunken girls! We had a really funny time together!

And we tried all the beauty products from the duty-free shop - cosmetics and alcohol ;-)
-

Back in Stockholm we also ate a lot of ice cream and spend some time in Stockholm to enjoy the beautiful weather!
In one shop in Gamal Upssala the make their own fresh waffles! And the ice cream is also really really delicious!

Easter Sunday

We had such a nice Easter dinner in Rita's and Uwana's corridor! Everybody brought some food or drinks and we spend the whole day together, Eating drinking and having fun!

The day before Easter some coloured the Easter eggs with Bernhard. They really looked nice!

On Easter Sunday the Easter Rabbit Bernhard hid the eggs in the Flogsta forest and we had to search for them. It was fun!

We eat such good food, like Katariinas fresh made Kanelbullar

Also the Easter Bunny Uwana hid some Easter packages for everybody! Together we trid to hide the as good as possible on the roof ;-)

Rita tried to learn Bernhard some Ballet moves!

Even the big kids are always happy about some sweets and a present for them own!

Tonight I went with Kadri, Uwana and Anne for a walk! It was really nice to move a bit after eating the whole day. It was nice to celebrate Easter together with so manpeople from different nationalities!

06.04.2007 Bike Tour to the Fiby Naturreservat

After organising the bikes for everyone we started our bike and walking tour.
20km to the forest 4km walking and 20 km back home.

The wind was so chilly and strong that it was really exhausting and cold on the way to the reservat. But finally we made it an it was more than worth going there!

On of our stops,...

Then we started exploring the forest. It looked like one of the places which maybe have inspired Tolkien the author of Lord of the Rings!

massive stones covered with moss! It looked so pretty when the sun shined through the trees,..

And definitely spring is coming, even though it was a really crazy April weather today, from sun shine to snow we had everything ;-),..

The way back home was more convenient because now the wind came from the backside!

Typical Swedish mail boxes:

And this could be Villa Kunterbunt from Pippi Longstocking (Pippi Langstrumpf)

After this small tour we were really satisfied, hungry and tired.
Past Apfelstrudel and coffee helped back to live ;-)

Tallinn 02-04. April 2007

The next city we discovered was Tallinn!

The Romantica ferry is so much nicer and bigger than the ferry to Riga, we were really happy!

Dinner in our cabins! Now after some excursions and trips we are really travel experts, with our squeeze-cheese, Lappish bread and out basket fridge in the shower ;-)

The whole Tallin-group!

Duty free shoppping on the ferry!

The Moulin Rouge show programme was really fun! We started loughing ;-)

And we couldn't stop any more ;-)

After the funniest night ever we arrived at 10 in the morning in Tallinn the capital of Estonia!
It is a beautiful city. When you arrive you can see the old Tallinn on the one side

and the new side of Tallinn on the other side:

The day became more and more beautiful!

Also the cultural clash: The few from one point into different directions:
The old houses:

and opposite new buildings:

one of the typical tourist restaurants, ...

I have never before seen so many souvenir shops like in Tallinn, but the really had nice and funny things too.

After a really awesome day and perfect Estonian lunch we hurried back to catch the ferry. Finally we arrived last minute at the port for the check in, and we went back to Stockholm,...

Again we had fun and danced through the night!

We will see where we will go next time!
