Riga 09.03-11.03

After our Kiruna Trip we decided to plan as soon as possible our next trips. The ferry to Riga was the first activity. Thanks Katariina for organizing it!!!




We took the ferry from Stockholm to Riga - for those who don't know Riga is the capital from Latvia ;-)





Babuschkas show that Riga is already influenced by Russia.

They have really good and really special cakes! And everything is a little bit cheaper!

We were really surprised about the "Free Hug Day" People were running around hugging strangers - a nice idea!





Then we went to the market hall which was really really big. We ate lunch and bought many cheap things like meat and fish and caviar!

Because the dinner buffet at the ferry was expensive we made our corridor picnic and parties :-) That was fun. And when the security came we went to the disco and danced all through the night. It was so funny because the ferry was see-sawing and we danced 5 steps left five steps right ;-)
